Locals and visitors will stroll the streets in Victorian fashions. Dress in Victorian or Country-Victorian attire to be a part of this very special day, or just come share the day with family and friends. For your enjoyment, there will be theatrical and musical entertainment, and you are invited to experience the warm and wonderful feeling of a traditional Victorian holiday season in the enchanting Victorian Village of Ferndale!

- Telegraph / Morse Code demonstration by Comstock Civil War Re-enactors’ George Schlegel in the patio next to the Blacksmith Shop Gallery, 491 Main St.
- Civil War Cannons on display at the corner of Main & Shaw, weather permitting
- Victorian Tableaux: Ferndale's own Ellie Green and Patrick Porter will 'freeze' a moment in time -- as they wander through Main St. shops in Victorian attire. Where will they appear next? Keep your eyes open!
- Photographs in Victorian Attire taken by Dan Tubbs, Jr. at Times Remembered, 431 Main St. Simple costumes available.
- Jewelry Making demonstration by Willi Welton at Times Remembered, 431 Main St.

- Mirth First (Barbershop Quartet) roaming the streets and shops singing olde-time songs for your enjoyment!
- Christmas Caroling! Sing along or enjoy community caroling groups strolling Main St. and stopping in shops, including Victorian Belles on Main Street from noon to 1 pm.

Street Vendors |
Ferndale volunteers and youth will be selling the following on Main Street as fundraisers for their organizations:
- Warm pretzels: 8th grade pretzel cart in front of Becker's Insurance, 521 Main St.
- Bake sale and prize drawing: Ferndale Community Church youth, outside Times Remembered, 431 Main St.
- Ferndale Museum Books, DVDs and prize drawing tickets sold outside Redeye Laboratories, 405 Main St.

The Victorian Village of Ferndale, full of surprises, deserves
more than a day to discover. 265 miles north of Sacramento and San Francisco,
it's a beautiful drive from the major airports (Sacramento, San Francisco,
Oakland, San Jose) or fly into the Arcata/Eureka airport in McKinleyville,
45 minutes north of Ferndale (car rentals, Door-to-Door
Airporter shuttle service available).
From California Highway 101, take the Fernbridge/Ferndale
exit. Cross historic Fernbridge and drive through five miles of pastoral
views to Ferndale's Main Street.
